Kevin Nash joined Gentex in 1999 as a Senior Accountant and has held various positions at Gentex with increased responsibilities including Accounting Manager, Corporate Controller and Director of Accounting. In 2018, he was promoted to Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance, and Treasurer. Mr. Nash is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Gentex’s Accounting functions including SEC reporting, Corporate Governance, Board Reporting, General Accounting, Accounts Payables and Receivables, International Accounting and Fixed Assets, as well as Payroll, Budgeting and long term financial planning. In June 2014, he was promoted to Vice President of Accounting. Prior to joining Gentex, Nash worked for ODL Incorporated as a Senior Accountant primarily focused on General Accounting, Fixed Assets and Accounts Receivable. Mr. Nash holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Hope College and became a Certified Management Accountant in 2006.
Neil Boehm joined Gentex in 2001 as a program manager and has served in various roles with increased responsibilities in product development and engineering, including Vice President of Engineering. In 2018, Neil was promoted to Chief Technology Officer, where he has been central to the development of the company’s expanding product and technology portfolio. In 2025, he was promoted to Chief Operations Officer to better align Gentex’s operational excellence with its focus on technology adoption and deployment. Prior to joining Gentex, Boehm worked for Johnson Controls, Inc. where he served as an engineering manager. During his time there he developed vast experience with international customers including an expatriate assignment in Japan. He is a native of Wisconsin and graduated summa cum laude from Michigan Technological University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
Rosa joined Gentex in 2002 as a second-shift production employee in final assembly, just one year after moving from Mexico. Since that time, she has built her career from the ground up, serving on the accounting team in roles of increasing responsibility, including leading company-wide budgeting and forecasting, capital planning, and compensation modeling. In recent years, she has been heavily involved in Gentex M&A execution and integration. In her role as Vice President, Rosa oversees all core accounting functions, including financial reporting, audit, treasury, cost accounting, fixed assets, payroll, payables and receivables, equity compensation, and travel and expense management. She earned her MBA from Grand Valley State University.
David Goodyke joined Gentex in 2015 as a Sales Director, and in his current role is responsible for sales to our OEM customers headquartered in Japan, Korea, India and China. David has more than 30 years of experience working with global OEM customers in Japan, Korea, China and India, including living in Japan for 2 years, supporting multiple customers in Japan and Korea along with various business operations in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to Gentex, David worked on commercial and business development for full seating systems, interiors and electronics at Prince Corporation, Johnson Controls and Visteon. He attended Davenport University and the Lubar School of Business, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Dave joined Gentex in 2019 as Director of Program Management for Asia, and was promoted in 2023 to Vice President of Engineering. In this role, Dave is responsible for overseeing the continued diversification of Gentex’s products and technologies, while managing the engineering teams that support this growth. Specifically, Dave manages Gentex’s Software and Hardware Development teams, Mechanical and Systems Engineering teams, and the Project Engineering team. Prior to Gentex, Dave completed nearly 30 years of global experience working with Innotec and JCI/Prince, working in different roles including engineering leadership, technical sales, business development, operational leadership, and program management. Dave holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Tech and a master’s degree in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.
Brian Lorence joined Gentex in 2001 as an Integrated Engineering Manager, and has held positions of increasing responsibility at Gentex. Prior to Gentex, Brian served as Program Engineering and Group Manager at General Motors. In his role as Vice President of Sales, Brian will continue his focus on US-based OEMs, while supporting our new business growth. He holds multiple patents, and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Lawrence Technological University.
Joe Matthews joined Gentex in 2010 as a Purchasing Manager, and worked in positions of increasing responsibility before serving as Gentex’s Vice President of Purchasing from 2014 through 2021. In 2018, he was appointed as Gentex's first Diversity Officer, and took on the responsibility of developing and implementing Gentex’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives. Since 2018, Joe’s efforts have helped Gentex gain recognition as a world-class employer, and he won numerous awards for his work at Gentex and in the community. In recognition of the importance of this role at Gentex, and to support the continued growth of DE&I’s impact and scale at Gentex, Joe stepped fully into the newly created role of Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the start of 2022. In this role, Joe is responsible for the continued development and focus of Gentex’s DE&I initiatives, serving as our representative in the community and driving meaningful change at Gentex.
Joe is a native of Gary, Indiana. He started his career at Delphi in Kokomo, Indiana in 1991. Joe’s experiences there include IC design, operations, manufacturing engineering, and roles of increasing responsibility in supply management. In 2003, Joe became part of the sourcing leadership for Whirlpool Corporation in Michigan. In addition, he held leadership positions for the pre-integration sourcing planning for the Maytag acquisition, Indirect, and Supply Chain. In 2009, Joe worked for Management Engineers (now PwC Strategy&) to expand their presence into the United States. Joe graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. In addition, he has a Master of Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, and a Master of Business Administration both cum laude from Cornell University.
Josh joined Gentex in 2012 as a marketing manager, working to support our sales teams, corporate communications initiatives, and web presence. He worked alongside our investor relations team before becoming the Investor Relations Manager in 2014. He was promoted to Director of Investor Relations in 2018. In his time at Gentex, he has been instrumental in strengthening the company’s relationships with investors, analysts, and stakeholders. He has helped shape the public conversation around Gentex, ensuring transparency and fostering confidence in Gentex’s long-term vision by managing our quarterly calls, annual reports, sustainability reporting, and shareholder meetings. In addition to his work on our IR team, Josh serves as the executive sponsor for our Emerging Professionals Business Resource Group. Josh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Communications from Calvin University.
Randy previously worked at Shape Corporation where he served as the Vice President and General Manager of Shape Asia. He also served as Vice President of Purchasing and Supply Chain for Shape Corporation. Prior to working at Shape, Randy worked for General Motors in various positions of increasing responsibility in purchasing and Supply Chain. His last position at GM from 2010-2018 was the Executive Director of Body/Exterior Purchasing. Throughout his GM career, Randy has worked and lived in 7 countries: U.S., Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina. Randy has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
Robert Steel worked alongside Gentex’s European sales force as a consultant for several years before joining the company formally in 1999. He’s been a key member of our European team, managing relationships with several European OEMs and working to establish, support, and manage our offices in the UK, France, and Sweden. He’s also been an active member of our business development team and was a leading member in the acquisition of Guardian Optical Technologies. Currently, Robert serves on the divisional boards for our European entities and manages the offices and sales forces across the region. Before becoming Vice President of Sales for Europe, he led our growth with Jaguar Land Rover, Bentley, Aston Martin, and our European tier-one customers. He has extensive experience with other European customers, having previously held sales roles with Ford Europe, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Volvo, Renault, PSA, and Porsche. Before joining Gentex, Robert studied business at Coventry College, ran two sales agencies, and established his own successful consultancy business.
