ZEELAND, Mich., Nov. 19, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Gentex Corporation (NASDAQ: GNTX), a leading supplier of digital vision, connected car, dimmable glass and fire protection technologies, announced today that Brian Walker, former CEO and board member of Herman Miller, has been appointed to its board of directors.
Prior to joining the board at Gentex, Walker was employed for 29 years by Herman Miller, Inc., a $2.38 billion provider of office furniture, fixtures and equipment, that employs nearly 8,000 people worldwide. While there, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer for 14 years, and as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Executive Vice President in prior roles.

Walker is a certified public accountant and a graduate of Michigan State University.
